South Western Sydney Institute offers a variety of well-maintained and modern facilities at nine campuses. These include general purpose rooms, computer classrooms, conference and function areas, flexible learning centres and specialist rooms.

General purpose rooms

General purpose rooms are subject to availability, and upon request can be provided with a TV, video and an overhead projector. Most rooms are fitted with whiteboards. These classrooms are situated at all colleges and generally seat 20 to 30 people.

Computer classrooms

All computer classrooms are equipped with basic operational software. Upon request, additional software can be installed. Computer rooms are connected to the Institute's educational network and most are capable of providing internet access. These rooms are available at all college locations and typically seat 20 to 30 people.

Conference and function areas

Most conference rooms are equipped with a whiteboard, overhead projector, light pro and smart board and have internet access. These rooms are located throughout all sites, but rooms have different seating capacities.

Flexible learning centres

Flexible learning centres are located at Liverpool College and Bankstown.

Both centres are equipped with basic operational software. Upon request, additional software can be installed. Computer rooms are connected to the Institute's educational network and have Internet access.

Education and Training Centre

The Education and Training Centre at Liverpool is the most modern facility of its type in the region. The Centre offers a tiered lecture theatre with state-of-the-art multimedia, seating up to 150 people, seminar rooms, computer rooms, flexible Learning Centre housing 41 networked personal computers, kitchen and catering facilities.

Specialist rooms

Collectively within South Western Sydney Institute, we have a diverse and comprehensive range of specialised training facilities. These include, but are not limited to:

• Commercial kitchens and restaurant facilities.
• Meat and Allied Trades workshops
• Electrical trades workshops
• Carpentry and joinery workshops
• Applied science laboratories
• Automotive workshops

Note: Specialist training facilities require qualified persons to operate equipment.
