A new degree being delivered at TAFE NSW – South Western Sydney Institute (SWSi), Liverpool College, means students will gain a university qualification from the comfort of their local TAFE College, saving them both time and money.
The SWSi-delivered Bachelor of Applied Management course means students will gain a guaranteed place in the third year of the University of Ballarat degree, following the successful completion of their TAFE studies.
This arrangement will see students save in study time and university fees. Already, the course has received a great response with over 25 students enrolling in Semester One 2012, reflecting the positive interest in studying a degree in the nurturing TAFE environment.
At a recent orientation session, Institute Director, Peter Roberts, congratulated the first group for making the choice to study the degree through TAFE SWSi.
“The Bachelor of Applied Management course is a great opportunity for SWSi students, many of whom may never have expected to be able to complete a degree at TAFE,” he said.
“The higher level skills they will learn will make them very employable when they graduate” he continued.
The next Bachelor of Applied Management course will be taking enrolments for Semester Two in July 2012.
