Two SWSi students have been named on the 2011 Board of Studies NSW First in Course list for coming first .
Jack Bennett, from Campbelltown College, topped the Information Technology exam whilst Benjamin White, from Granville College, was awarded first place in the Metal and Engineering exam.
Both students were acknowledged at a ceremony where the NSW Minister for Education, Adrian Piccoli announced the 107 First in Course recipients at the Australian Technology Park in Eveleigh.
Institute Director, Peter Roberts, congratulated the pair on their outstanding results.
"The HSC is a world-class credential, and it is important that we acknowledge these students who have worked so hard to reach the top of their courses," said Mr Roberts.
Student Benjamin also acknowledged the support from his teachers who helped him achieve his results.
“I wouldn’t have topped the course without the help and support of my Granville TAFE teachers, Warwick Johnston and Kevin Galley. They were great," he said.
