Our experience shows each organisation will require a different solution to its training problems and the SWSi Business Development Unit has the expertise to customise programs to provide optimum results.
Businesses and other organisations can improve the training of their staff through special programs delivered in the classroom or at the worksite, with qualifications that will be recognised nationally.
Special training programs can be developed in any field from forklift driving and roof tiling to business management and information technology. Customised training solutions may include a combination of:
- short courses
- courses customised for the particular business
- intensive training programs delivered on the worksite using the employer's equipment
- recognition for the skills that staff have already acquired
Depending on the type of training delivered, participants will be assessed and may achieve a:
- nationally accredited qualification (whole or partial elements or competencies from training packages)
- TAFE accredited
- non accredited
- custom designed
- industry certified
Delivery modes are flexible and could be on-the-job or at your premises, at one of our nine colleges, online or through a combination of these methods - the choice is yours!
The Business Development Unit employs experienced business consultants, who are skilled industry experts and will:
- work with employers to analyse their training needs
- devise a training program that meets those needs as well as meeting current industry standards, and building on existing workplace skills
- assess the workplace skills already available in the organisation
