Skills recognition

Got the skills and experience? Then get the recognition.

At TAFE NSW -South Western Sydney you can fast-track your studies through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

When you enrol in a TAFE NSW qualification, the skills and experience you have can be recognised for achieving a qualification. You could gain credit for your course and finish your qualification faster as you do not need to study things you already know!

Credit may be available for:

  • previous study, including courses at school or college
  • internal and external training programs at work
  • overseas qualifications
  • paid or voluntary work experience, or
  • life experience
