Counselling and career advice

Free counselling and career advice

A free, friendly and confidential counselling service is available to all students.

Counsellors can help:

  • If you need motivation in your studies
  • If you need advice on a course, career or your ability to complete your course based on your personal circumstances
  • If you need to sort out priorities, make important decisions, manage your time efficiently and manage energy levels more effectively

Please click here to go to the SWSi counselling and careers service information centre. Here you will find resources and information on many topics including study skills, careers, personal issues and contact numbers.

Counsellors can also help if you:

  • Are thinking of dropping out
  • Need help with Austudy
  • Require enrolment assistance
  • Require advice on overseas qualifications

Interpreters can be arranged if required.

Counsellors may be available during day or evening hours (depending on college needs).

For an appointment, either phone 13 SWSi (13 7974) or call in to your local college to make arrangements.
