TVET enables senior high school students to undertake part of their HSC study program at a TAFE NSW college.

When you study through TVET you can gain:

• Units of credit for your preliminary and/or higher school certificate
• An academic transcript from TAFE NSW
• A statement of competencies achieved
• A Statement of Attainment, Certificate I or Certificate II qualification

If you study an industry curriculum framework course for two years, you can choose to take the optional HSC examination and have it counted towards the calculation of your Universities Admission Index (UAI).

TVET can give you a head start in both your career and in post-school study.
